The future creative trends from Serviceplan’s Innovation Day

Each year around Oktoberfest time, a carefully selected group of top international speakers and personalities from the worlds of business, politics, media and communication meet at the House of Communication in Munich for Innovation Day. The more than 400 guests that attended this year were able to enjoy addresses from personalities like the former German Foreign Minister, Sigmar Gabriel; the ever-provocative and much awarded photographer Oliviero Toscani; Terrry Von Bibra, General Manager Europe of the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group; and the scientist Jürger Schmidhuber, the renowned expert in modern artificial intelligence. All that presented by the journalist Wolfram Kons.

Publips Serviceplan, the Spanish agency of the German group actively participated in this event organising a press trip with the main media from the communication sector in Spain: Anuncios, El Publicista and Marketing Directo.

The Innovation Lounge

The former German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel opened Innovation Day 2018 with a speech on Europe’s path to a digital future. Another key address was that of Oliviero Toscani together with the award-winning Chief Creative Officer of Serviceplan Group, Alexander Schill, who both offered insights about the creative process.

New to the event this year was the ‘Innovation Lounge’, where technical visions and developments came to life, and where guests could find inspiration as they had the opportunity to experience innovations of the future. As well as creative and futuristic devices, the participants could also discover and test technical innovations that will affect various aspects of life in the future.
