Publips-Serviceplan‘s office in Valencia hosts the second Creative Summit of the Serviceplan Group; the largest German-based communication group in Europe with presence in 24 markets, offices in 35 countries and a total of 3,400 employees. The first edition took place in Korea in April of last year.

The Creative Summit is a three-day summit meeting in which the best creative minds of the Serviceplan Group come together under the guidance of Alex Schill, Serviceplan’s Global Chief Creative Officer. It’s the chance for creative directors to be inspired, to discover other cities and headquarters of the group and to establish synergies. “If you’re always working, when are you inspired?” comments Luis Piquer, CEO of Publips-Serviceplan.

Serviceplan has chosen Publips-Serviceplan’s Valencia headquarters as Valencia is a city where talent converges with very competitive prices for advertising production on a European level. According to Luis Piquer, “In Valencia we have National Design Awards, a video game industry, renowned illustrators, not to mention that it is a Film Friendly city. It’s a great outdoor movie set. In terms of the advertising industry and filmmaking, hosting this meeting with 35 Creative Directors from around the world puts Valencia on the map. We are positive that it will be an utter revelation for many of the attendees as well as an opportunity for the city. So much so, he continues, that from the first moment the possibility of hosting the Summit came along, we had the support of Valencia Tourism who has offered us all kinds of facilities”.

Attending this creative meeting, which combines work with a busy schedule of gastronomic, cultural, and tourism activities, will be 35 professionals from Serviceplan’s headquarters in Austria, China (Beijing, Shanghai), France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, among others.

A lecture by Pink Intruder is among the scheduled activities. This group, formed by Miguel Arraiz (architect) and David Moreno (Fallero artist), will discuss their experience during the Burning Man with their “Renaixement” Falla. Moreover, creative executives who have been awarded with over 1000 Cannes Lions – the most prestigious award in the international advertising scene-, will work in teams with real briefings on current clients of Publips-Serviceplan.

The Serviceplan Group currently ranks the German creative ranking, number 1 in the media and interactive ranking, and number 1 in the global design ranking of Red Dot.
