Amstel launches the Espolín Movement

The ESPOLÍN MOVEMENT kick-starts with a set of initiatives highlighting the silk culture and which will have their most serious manifestations in the AMSTEL ESPOLÍN COLLECTION as well as through the study programme and AMSTEL ESPOLÍN SCHOLARSHIPS.

Moreover, this movement signed by the agency Publips-Serviceplan, includes other actions such as the AMSTEL ESPOLÍN DAYS: interdisciplinary workshops around this Valencian artisan fabric. It is Amstel’s new proposal for this year’s Fallas that was presented at an event held in the artistic workshops of Sporting Club Russafa in Valencia, which included a small exhibition and parade.

From 16 to 19 March, the Amstel Art space (located in the Veles e Vents building in Valencia) will host the AMSTEL ESPOLÍN DAYS, days to promote the silk tradition through surprising encounters with other disciplines such as botany, graffiti or origami .

Amstel has also created the first specific study programme and the Amstel Espolín scholarships to support the generational change between silk craftsmen.
