Cordoba. A very charming city
Cruzcampo has created a video that shows its tribute to Córdoba, highlighting its legacy and artistic spirit. To mark the sponsorship of the International Córdoba Guitar Festival’s 35th edition, Publips has been the agency in charge of managing this action, which is complemented by a photographic exhibition showing the value and tradition of Córdoba’s different artistic disciplines.
On the occasion of the sponsorship of the International Córdoba Guitar Festival that is taking place these days, Cruzcampo wished to pay tribute to the city under the concept “Everything Córdoba touches becomes art”. For this, the beer brand and Publips have created a video and an exhibition where the artistic spirit of Córdaba’s people is highlighted through its history and its famous personalities. Furthermore, the campaign pays tribute to all the anonymous people of Córdoba who convey their art through different disciplines. The audiovisual piece shows the process of creating a guitar in the hands of a luthier, a process that alternates with images of Córdoba and close-ups of hands transforming into art everything they touch: courtyards, leather, gastronomy, gold and silversmithing or the hands of the “bailaores” (dancers). Proposals that people from Córdoba were able to do through a conversation with the brand using the hashtag # córdobaesarte (#córdobaisart). Likewise, the sound section offers a reinterpretation performed live of Albeniz’s emotional”Córdoba”.
This video is complemented with a photographic exhibition in the central Plaza de las Tendillas square, where the images of different artistic disciplines that Córdoba is known for are displayed: gold and silversmithing, leather, ceramic or the courtyards. Moreover, Cruzcampo has launched a series of PR actions, such as a The Guitar Festival Tapa Tour. More than 40 bars will participate, in which the people from Córdoba will be able to enjoy the best local cuisine with a cold Cruzcampo, and win concert tickets for the International Córdoba Guitar Festival’s 35th edition. The Festival is undoubtedly one of the year’s events in the Andalusian city. In this edition, artists like Joan Manuel Serrat, Noa, Sting or Bob Dylan will give it all on the stages of Córdoba.
