Makro takes it “Monument to the HORECA industry” to Madrid Fusión

Madrid Fusion- international Summit of gastronomy-, has been the chosen scenario for Makro to reinforce, once again, their commitment to the HORECA professionals by moving their First Interactive Monument to the HORECA Industry to the Palacio Municipal de Congresos of Madrid.

An interactive set up, in which from 25 to 27 January, professionals and gastronomy enthusiasts, visitors to the gastronomic hall, have been able to pay their personal tribute and leave supportive messages to the HORECA professionals.

The experience occurred inside Makro’s stand where a 2.5m x 2.5m screen projected a video summary of the action that took place in April in the Plaza de Felipe II in Madrid, with the presentation of Spain’s First Monument to the HORECA Industry. Moreover, visitors could take a picture showing their support to the sector and share it on social networks through the hashtag # MonumentoMF16.

To take a selfie, visitors could choose from several types of HORECA establishments as background (menu bar, a la càrte bar, tapas bar, etc.) and leave their words of encouragement for those who through their efforts and dedication make bars and restaurants, the stage for great moments.
