Under the theme “Transformation”, Innovation Day 2019, an unmissable event for the for the marketing and advertising sector which Serviceplan Group organises each year, was an outright success with over 400 attendees.
Exhibitors and internationally renowned personalities in the areas of economy, politics and communication came together on 25th September to take part in workshops, conferences and debates about the current industry trends in advertising.
Innovation was a running theme throughout the day: right at the start of the event, Serviceplan’s CEO, Florian Haller, surprised guests by appearing as a hologram for the programme announcements.
Among the speakers were Vivane Reding, ex Vice-president of the European Commission and ex Justice and Citizens’ Rights Commissioner; Anna-Beeke Gretemeier, Editor-in-chief of Stem magazine; Friedric Merz, a German politician; Carsten Knop, Chief Digital Editor of Products Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung; Frederik G. Pferdt, Head of Innovation at Google; Ralf Reichert, CEO and Founder of ESL, Susan Schramm, Vice-president and Marketing Manager at McDonald’s; Robin Ruschke, Senior Vice-president for Global Brand & Communications SIXT; Jeff Lunsford, CEO of Tealium and Thorsten Scheib, Marketing Manager at Philip Morris GmbH.
Serviceplan Spain and Serviceplan Group invited the Spanish media outlets Marketing Directo and Anuncios to cover this interesting event in order to give their readers a first-hand account.
In their story, Marketing Directo mentions all of the speakers from Tarek Müller (About You) who was named CMO of the Year or how data is becoming the life and soul of the party in the customer journey, according to the CEO of Tealium. And of course, Viviane Reding’s intervention about the need to transform Europe.
